The Netherlands |
Well, after just a short trip (compaired to my previous journeys) we arrived at the railwaystation of Alphen aan den Rijn - a city close to Leimuiden.
I was still comfy in my box, but felt movement, heard voices, doors slam and the sound of a car engine - I knew I was on my way to my next temporary home.
I must have dozed off and the sound of excited voices woke me up.
"Aww... isn't he cute!", "Look at that smile"... yes folks, they were talking about MOI :)
I know I'm going to have a great time here - hehehe
While we were getting to know each other better, the gifts from auntie Imbi were opened with delight, and my luggage too. It's true, I started off travelling light, but the bag with presents from the aunties, is growing!
The girls were most pleased with the ladybug rings, aunt Imbi packed for them. There must be a pic somewhere, but we can't find it - will add that later.
We had time for just a short break as it soon was time for Sabine to go to her gymnastic class - they are practicing for a gym-tournament on Saturday.
The gym-instructor was very impressed by my skills and asked if I'd like to join Sabine's team for the tournament.
I didn't think twice and said "YES!" I'm always in for a game and this was fun!
After a great meal - I really like the Dutch food - and some TV, it was time for bed.
The girls prepared a wonderful sleeping place for me, and tossed to see where I would sleep the first night. Manon won, so up to the attic we went. What a surprise, lots of red in her room - and we all know Lord B looks good in red!
I must have been sleepwalking, because when Auntie Antoinette came to check on us, she found me in Manon's bed :)
That's all for today folks!
