So who reads my blog?
Borrowed this from Caroline – Cosmic Handmade 🙂
So who reads my blog?
I do wonder if there is anyone who reads but doesn’t post comments, I don’t mind as I do read some blogs but don’t comment as well. But it would be nice just to say hello, so I get to know who you are and visit your blog as well.
- As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! And if we’ve never met in real life, leave me a comment of your favourite post I wrote and why it was your favourite.
- Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually really funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.
- Do you read my posts from a reader, blogroll or is this your first visit?
*crossing fingers that there will be comments as I doubt that there are people actually reading my blog!*
Love your blog and your layout!! Just great!!
I found your blog today for the first time from the Digifree site! It’s just wonderful!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to blog and keep us all posted on you!!
Hi there! I just found your blog. Don’t quite understand what you mean by “a memory we share together,” but I love that you’re trying your daughter’s dance game. I’m a teacher, and a few years ago I had a very overweight 14-year-old student who felt very bad about his body. Out of the blue, he decided to take action. He started eating more sensibly, drinking quite a few energy drinks so he’s have some zip, and started regularly doing “Dance, Dance Revolution.” When I saw him a couple of months later, I was astounded! He’d lost tons of weight and had a smile on his face, which was a rare sight before. I saw him again some months later, and he was even thinner, and still very happy. So dance away! It’s got to be good for anyone! And it’s great that it’s an interest you can share with your daughter. One more thing: as a teacher, I appreciate parent who discipline their kids when they need it. Taking away a good thing (like her dance program) is much more effective than adding a bad thing (like an undesirable job, a talking-to, etc.). Good for you!
Well we’ve been visiting each other’s blogs for a long time, Antoinette. And I always appreciate the comments you leave on Scraps of Mind.
The truth is that only a very small percentage of visitors to you blog tend to leave comments, unless they’re IRL personal friends or family.
This is a shame because it is the comments from readers that fuels our enthusiasm to keep on doing this. And many bloggers drop by the wayside because, with no comments, they feel nobody is interested in what they write.
Thanks for your comments ladies.
Amy and Elnora, nice to meet you! And thank you for not staying anonymous 🙂
Karen, you are so right. You have no idea how many times I decided to stop blogging altogether! But in the end I thought: I’m writing for no one but me, so even if just one person visits, it’s a bonus 🙂
Do I know you? Mmmm let’s see… did I not bump into you in Amsterdam… I remember we had many cups of coffee… and time did fly. It’s time you come over here *grin*, that is if you like tea off course!

Hehehe – I love tea; lemon, cinnamon, winter, green, Earl Grey, whatever flavor you have. Shall I bring the stroopwafels? *cheeky grin*
Hmmm, I remember a lot of things. One of my favorites was the time we spent 5 hours IMing when you were teaching me about html. It still amazes me that it was like an ordinary conversation while we were thousands of miles apart. I love the internet on days like that.
Sorry I’m not around much–it’s been way busier than I thought it would be, but that’s the way life is, I guess.
Pat (still here, and wishing we could get together for a nice long chat) 🙂

Ciao Antoinette, we’ve known you for a few years now, thanks to your amazing Christmas Calendar and lovely site. We also like reading your blog when time allows, in order to see what’s new and what you did create 🙂 Hugs from Scotland.
P.S. = you are on our blogroll 🙂 Hugs! We’ll play too, tonight or tomorrow…
1. One memory that you and I had together: we probably are the only two in the fanlistings world who keep separate collectives for our kids, with their favourite subjects. 🙂
2. Will re-post soon!
3. I read your posts through a sidebar feed reader in Flock.
