Drama Queen
What a day! I found out this morning that Sabine had been reading until 2 AM. The kid is 11 and loves her sleep more than anything. So I was angry, knowing that she would be grumpy all day. And when she’s grumpy, she’s grumpy!
We quarrelled a lot and she was talking to me in a disrespectful way, trying to see how far she could go. I was proud of myself for staying calm, that is… until 5.30 PM. She said things I just couldn’t accept, so I sent her to her room and told her to stay there and not bother coming down for dinner.
Of course she came down later, apologized and we’re friends again. That’s what always happens, so it wasn’t a surprise.
But when I went to check on her just now (she was sleeping btw), I noticed a handwritten note on her door, which apparently she put there after I sent her upstairs.
In bold letters the note said:
“DON’T COME IN UNLESS YOU HAVE FOOD, BECAUSE I’M ALMOST DEAD”.
ROFL – Kids, gotta love ’em 😀

I remember these scenes from when I was younger. *sigh* Those were good times 😉 But then again, now I’m free to do what I like and that’s a good thing as well 😉
PS on what date are you going to Joseph… in Holland? I also booked my tickets far in advance, two friends and I are going on 7 March in Nijmegen 🙂
